Whenever you have helped the least of these my brothers, you have helped me."

The CRHP hospital in the village of Jamkhed, India, is the only hospital within 100 miles and serves a population of 30,000 people. Without CRHP, the poor and marginalized living in the area would have no medical care. Yet, the original structure of tin and concrete blocks was built over 30 years ago, and is now showing signs of age and serious deterioration. The JELA Foundation has joined hands with other NGOs and church bodies to raise funds to construct a new hospital to provide medical care to the people of Jamkhed, many of whom still live in poverty. The new hospital, with a 50-bed capacity, is scheduled for completion in 2008.
