Child Food Program

Without adequate food, many street children turn to a life of crime and prostitution in order to live. The JELA Foundation and Lutherans throughout the world have taken steps to help these children by establishing community feeding centers. In Sao Paulo, Brazil, the Lutheran-supported Reconciliation Program has constructed a kitchen facility thanks to support from JELA and other Lutheran partners. Another child feeding project is The Good Samaritan Project in Rio de Janeiro. Please join JELA’s efforts to offer nutritious meals to hundreds of children each day.
