Emergency Food Relief

The JELA Foundation is one of many Lutheran organizations that provided emergency food to children and their families when the tsunami hit South Asia in December of 2005. JELA also provided emergency food and medicine to Indian villages devastated by the Gujarat earthquake in 2001. A key factor in a timely response to such disasters is adequate preparation. The JELA Foundation thus works tirelessly throughout the year to raise funds to be used in future responses.
